La Fea Mas Bella Review by Ashley Sanchez

La Fea Mas Bella is a Mexican telenovela produced by TeleVision. It is the second Mexican version of the popular Colombian telenovela: Betty La Fea. On TeleVision it comes out at 7:00 P.M. The first episode of La Fea Mas Bella came out January 23, 2006 and the last episode was February 25. 2007 so it was about a year long.

   Breaking Through wanted some opinions from someone who has watched it before. We picked a man named Antonio Sanchez. We asked him a few questions about the show. 

We wanted to know who his favorite actor was and he said, “I like Angelica because she is a good actress and comedian.” We also wanted to know if he would like it if the novela would go on for a little longer and he said, “No, because it was too long already and the show creators said that it was the end.”

   La Fea Mas Bella was directed by Sergio Jimenez. The star of the show was Angelica Vale but in the show her name was Leticia Padicia Solis ‘Lety.’ The show was about comedy, drama, and romance. It had comedy because everyone on the show would always say funny jokes. It was dramatic because they had some gossip in it. Romance was in there because ‘Lety’ and ‘Fernando’ were in love. In conclusion the telenovela: La Fea Mas Bella is a Mexican show based on a Colombian telenovela: Betty La Fea and La Fea Mas Bella was first started on January 23, 2006 and the last episode was February 25. 2007.

                     

REVIEW: The Last of Us Video Game by Kevin Vo

The Last Of Us, a video game published by Naughty Dog and by Sony Computer Entertainment, was released on June 14, 2013 only for the PS3 (Play Station 3). The game is set in a post- apocalyptic world in which a character name Joel and a girl named Ellie travel across the U.S to find this group called the “Fireflies,” who want to find the cure for the plague. I do not want to give away spoilers so if you want to you know what happens you have to play it yourself. 

In your adventures, you will fight many different types of zombies ranging from natural zombies to the terrifying bloaters who can shoot “gasses” at you to kill you. The game The Last Of Us has won many awards such as “Best of E3” and the “Most anticipated game”. In addition, it has a 10/10 rating from IGN. But keep in mind, this game is also rated M and it contains blood and foul language so if you are 17 and older or you can handle this kind of stuff you can buy it at Target, Wal-Mart, or Game Stop for $60.

I asked Chris, one of my neighbors, and he said with mixed feelings of sadness and amazement “That was the best game I ever played” and that "the story line is very sad."

He also commented, “The cut scene is amazing with very real acting." The Last Of Us is an amazing game with in-depth story line and that I recommend this game to any gamers who like survival horror games.
